Howard Stern (maybe the key)

It's a nice thought, but Howard Stern isn't going to make any difference. How would Howard Stern make any difference whatsoever, and more, why would he care to?

Its simple.. He has been a van halen fan since he started out.. He loves CVH.. I mean, he is kind of a fanatic when it comes to the older stuff.. He constantly has dave on as a guest, even when dave isn't doing that much.. He was all syked about the reunion, invited dave to the private parts premier.. With the classic chant of "Eddie sucks!" and he is always intrested in any van halen news.. When the new song came out last year.. They listened to it, and all commented on how much it sucked, and it needed dave.. Howard always does bits on david lee roth, which actually are pretty funny... He even interviewd the brothers when 3 came out.. He wanted to interview them, and was syked to finally interview eddie.. But, eddie was kinda ehh.. Didn't go so well, but all was mended when eddie invited howard stern to the 2004 tour last year, which howard loved talkin to eddie, but i don't think he liked sam fronting too much... Trust me, howard get's into this stuff.. With enough emails, it will make for an intresting show.. Especially if he were to get both guys on the phone.. Eddie in his last interview said "the door is open" yea he was kinda talkin' about sam, but i think he has chilled out a little, and wants to make some new music, and i'm sure if roth went to 5150--lightening would strike again.. FOR A THIRD TIME

Problem is, he's just as friendly with Sammy as he is with Dave...so I don't know whether or not he'd have a vested interest...when Sammy's on, he goes on and on about how great and wonderful a choice Sam was for Van Halen and so forth, so...

Fuck, I don't know...well, why the hell not? Can't hurt, I guess.

With sammy on the show,. A lot of inside jokes go on.. Like when sam and dave were both on the show.. Dave said he would open with hot for teacher, and everyone was syked.. Sam said he would open with shaka doobie. Arty said "Shaka Doobie ain't gonna cut it" He said, once he hear's jamie's cryin' or ain't talkin about love.. Basically saying, once he hears dave play, he's out.... And when he talks to sammy about van halen, he makes fun at him.. About aliens, and how the brothers are gonna screw him over again and so on... Trust me, howard is a huge dave fan, and friend of dave's.. hahaha hell when they flipped the coin, there was no way in hell sammy was gonna close opening night of the sam and dave tour in ohio.. And hell, sammy even know's howard likes dave.. =) wow i know too much hahahaha

Just kidding. I sent him one. It said "Remember how you used to be funny and shock jock was 'in' ? Yeah.... well, that LONG ago is when we first thought there would be a Van Halen reunion with Diamond' Dave and Cubic Zirconia' Ed. Hasn't happened yet. The Roth Army is waiting very patiently for SOMETHING to happen between the two. The timing seems good with Sam returning to his Cabo Wabo back up singers, and since you are friends with both Edward and Dave, maybe you could connect the chat lines between them? his show has died down a bit.. Opie And Anthony are a lot better, but they do not have nearly as many connections as howard.. And howard used to be fuckin' hillarious back in his day

Hell, if Stern even TRIED to get Dave in VH again, I just might start listening to his show again...

Provided Ed can play up to Dave's standard's, that is... which I doubt.
