I post over there at VHforums and I have to admit I am "bi-halen" however I have always liked CVH better.
Anyway I think a lot of people are starting to see through Sammy and that all he cares about is the money.
This site has opened my eyes some and while it gets a bad rap over on the other side, you guys do provide a side to the story which is never a bad thing.Comment

I like both sites and I like both versions of Van Halen but I would pay
whatever the ticket price was (multiple times) to see the Diamond one
with the boys again.

IF they reunite with Dave, then there will be some noticeable changes from this tour with Sammy. For one, I think Dave will demand that Edward not get shit faced drunk and attempt to play. Ed might have been able to pull that off in the old days, but that coupled with years of rust apparently made him play pretty bad from what I've heard.
The music will obviously be a big difference...no Right Now (thank God) or any other bullshit. I guarantee you that Dave will only sing the original stuff. It needs to be played...by the original fookin' band. I think it would do Edward some good to go back and re-learn the old stuff. When was the last time he played Romeo Delight? Exactly. :D
Now, having said all of that...IF they decide to reunite then they need to do a full album's worth of music. No Greatest Shits or anything like that. Bust out some of those unheard gems..we know you got 'em. They need to promote, promote, promote...anything and everything. Once a buzz is created...THEN go on tour.Comment

Once they announce David Lee Roth is in van halen, and world tour.. That pretty much sells it self.. But dave will make sure it get's ton of press.. =) And as far as eddie drinking.. Ehh let him have one.. Let ed have fun.. Let them all have fun =) Everyone in the band is single now!!!!!!! its like way back when.. And eddie on the 2004 tour basically masterbated the hagar tunes on stage haha.. Al asked him if he was going to play any of the songs on the cd.. Eddie has PLAYED out the songs way too much.. BUT, at soundcheck, there was a lot of roth played!!! And from what i have heard, it was dead on.. Kinda tells ya somethin'
Why the hell wouldn't they do this?? So much to benefit from this.. I see an induction into the hall of fame as well!! But, its gotta be roth.. Shit, back to my drink, where the hell are my priorites..
