If A CVH Tour were to happen, what opening band would you like to see??

Actually, point has been made already, when established bands like VH go on tour, there's enough material for 2-3 hours per show. Who needs an opening act?

I don't watch opening acts anymore unless it's a joint headline situation.

At the moment in the UK unbelievably Van Halen would be the Darkness support not the other way around. Not that a reformed Van Halen would come to Europe or Australia anyway...

With the exception of COLLECTIVE SOUL and SILVERTIDE, I've never liked an opening act VH has toured with.

I think it would be suicide for a band to open for CVH. Everybody would be buying beer while they played.

I like the idea of no opening band. It will be one of the most awaited concerts since parachute pants and big hair was in. I would like to hear some solo stuff and maybe Dave singing Summer Nights.

The Darkness, Motley Crue or Velvet Revolver. The Darkness would probably be the best fit.

But I don't think any of us would be bothered if there was no opening band. Probably depends on the venue too. If they put on a huge outdoor show with the intention of pulling 50,000 + they'd probably need a strong support act.

Particularly outside the US where the brothers antics have decimated the band's legacy and reputation to such a degree that the name Van Halen is rarely mentioned.

Screw and opening band. Just show random classic Van Halen clips on the screen if background music is really needed before the perform.
