2004 Fleece The Sheep Tour A Confirmed Sham!!!
Just got done listening to the majority of the recent EVH interview from the DWYER & MICHAELS (The 2 dorks) Morning show. Some interesting things that EVH said stuck in my mind and I began to see a pattern emerging:
1.)-In the Interview section titled SONG SELECTION EVH relates that he has enough material fro "20-30" cd's. Same old EVH bullshit, just killed me that he has to fall back to this once again.
It got interesting when the 2 dorks wondered why no new CD from van hagar. "NOBODY ELSE WANTED TO DO MORE THAN 3 NEW SONGS." EVH revealed. HMMMMMM...I wondered to my self. Hadn't AVH & Spam gone on at the end of the tour that they were ready to cut another record?!? When pressured on the subject, EVH went on to say that "At least half the band didn't want to work on any more than 3 songs." When the Dorks asked "SPAMMY?" EVH replied "WHO ELSE IS IN THE BAND?!?" SOOOOOOO...lazy fat bastard Spam wouldn't work any anything else but those 3 terrible sings that took him a total of 5 minutes to wrtie the lyrics to.....that's all three songs in under 5 minutes!!!
2.)-Remember when people were bitching up a storm that EVH was "noodling" during the show, playing drunkenly & sloppy?!? Some here argued that he was IMPROVISING. EVH backed this up in the TOUR section of the interview. For the first time his "wasn't nervous" up on stage. Hmmmmm...hard to be nervous when you DON'T REALIZE WHERE YOU ARE. "I'm just gonna fuck off" is what he said he told many an audience during the FLEECE THE SHEEP tour. At $100.00 a pop, EVH is gonna "FUCK OFF". Quality control people! Remember the boots of how BAD EVH sounded?!?
Apparently, AVH actually noticed that the bread-winner of the family was a laughing stock, because EVH said that at one point during the tour AVH asked him "Don't 'ya think you should play some thing off the record?!?" during his solo spot? Even AVH realized that this clown had shot the wad. So much for AVH being the puppet master.
3.)-During the last stage of the interview, EVH talks some jive about the recording of LEARNING TO SEE on BOBW. Some routine about waterlogged guitars that were clamped to stools to stay in tune. RIGHT. Very plausable. Anyhow, the 2 dorks make a poo-poo joke about the guitars on that song being "stool samples". Can you imagine, 2 ASSCLOWNS making a crack at the GREATEST GUITARIST SINCE JIMMI HENDRIX?!?!? EVH manages a feeeble attempt at a joke to close the interview.
So, 3 songs & no desire to work on anyting more. Quick summer tour where EVH basically thumbs his nose at the fans.

$100.00 to see a band out on an obvious cash grab.
