    Better way late than never...

Thanks muchly to Panamark. I just got to hear this for the very first time.

Further evidence Spambo is a gay pussy ass-klown.

This song is better than the entire Van Hagar catalog.

    'Nuff said.

That's one of the biggest letdowns of 1996, in that MWM and CGTSNM, to my ears anyway, were proof that Van Halen with Roth could still put out new music that was worth listening to. Think of how many groups get back together and try to come up with new stuff that just ends up sucking (even the Van Hagar 2004 stuff sucked worse than the 1986-1994 stuff, and that's saying something). CVH in 1996 showed every sign of being able to buck those odds and be something more than a regrouped band touring off the strength of what they did umpteen years ago (KISS, the Rolling Stones and the Who spring to mind).

Was totally psyched after MWM/CGTSNM to hear an album of new stuff by CVH that kicked ass. Alas, a couple of weeks after those BOV1 tracks hit the radio, we find out that Roth's out and Cherone was in, and we end up with.........Van Halen 3.

I think Me Wise Magic is pretty good, butnot up to the standards of previous CVH songs.

                  I hear you Soul Reaper.

I'm not sure they'd ever attain those standards again....but anything with Roth is better than a product with anybody else.

Cant Get This Stuff No More is another great track.

Though anymore I do not like Ed's guitar sound. It is too processed and over-produced, therefore making it sound laboratory-sterile.....this is merely a reflection of one of the reasons Val divorced his ass...he can't get it up anymore. So yes, the title applies to Val as well. She "Can't Get That Stuff No Mo'".

Man, Dave hit some great notes in this song.

Anyone who says he can't sink is fucking full of shit.

Thanks to Panamark again for sliding these two tracks my way.

                    :D
