I've heard rumours (or truth, i don't know) about Ed playing a lot of the CVH basslines, i just wanted to know if he played this one, as it seems to good and difficult for Mikey to play.

No, I played the bass on "Push Comes To Shove." Ed told me about a bass player named Percy Jones. I really got into his style of playing, so I "borrowed" a little of Percy's style. Playing that track was fun, totally different from anything the band ever did before. -

I don't know if that was the "real" Mike Anthony or not, but he's right. All the bass parts in VH recordings are Mike Anthony playing. Ed might have wrote parts to certain songs, but Mike played them.Comment

I believe it to be Michael Anthony. I think he is technically better than what he has been allowed to play on the records. I believe his bass parts are dictated to him, but I think he is the one who plays the parts.Comment
