im confused. on the "im the one" track, who is singing the back ups and who is singing lead? it sounds like mike is doing both. lol. the backups on the chorus are vintage mike and the lead sounds like his voice too. are we sure this is from the last tour? ed sounds too fucking good. he nailed 99% of that song true to record. i thought for a second it came from the III tour where is playing was clearly in a different stage. anyway, just wondering....
Guitars 101 had mp3's of soundcheck 2004

thats what is strange. for a split sec i thought it could be gary, but he is a better singer than mike and did more justice to the CVH tunes. BUT, that is fucking mike on backups. lol. i swear! haha. either way, ed and sam didnt do that.Comment

Possibly an audience member(s) is singing...as it is an audience recording....it could have picked up someone nailing Ed's part better than him...out in the crowd.Comment

except ed sang the low part on the recording. he cant hit those high notes. who knows. im probably just making a bigger deal out of this than i should. it doesnt mater, cause hearing that song played live is good enough for me. i dont care who is singing it. lolComment

Yep Fat Ass Sammy is definitely not on Ed's Christmas card list. I have seen VH over 14 times 1977-04 and the soundcheck brought back some great memories of CVH! I think ya'll are right that Eddie wants one more moment in the sun with Dave and CVH. What a F***ing show that will beBandit02
Have ya ever noticed how much Sammy looks like Bette Midler in dragComment
