Aerosmith, Bon Jovi and Metallica may be the top earning concert draws in rock right now, but don't confuse ticket sales with quality. All three of those bands are dead in the water creatively (kinda ludicrous to talk about Bon Jovi being dead creatively NOW...as opposed to when they were coming up with quality stuff 15 years ago hee hee).
Would it be awesome to see CVH reunited, putting out kick-ass new music and touring? Absolutely. Won't ever be able to know if they'd still be doing that today had Roth stayed with them in 1985. Van Halen don't need to have sold the same amount of records or more than any other band for me to prefer what they did over anyone else. Sales don't mean shit.Scramby eggs and bacon.Comment
