I've just been spending the last hour lookin at old photo's around my apartment, old video's, and even in 1998 ed was lookin healthy... damn he is lookin' like hell. i hope we get a reunion and he can turn it around, but something in my guy is now tellin me, he may not be able to turn back. And if he can, i think dave is the key... remember back in 96 or 98 people were saying how dave looks old, and how ed is in great shape. tables have turned.. wow.. i just keep lookin at the rolling stone picture and that is not ed.. Even in the stupid van hagar balance pictures eddie looks like the picture of health... if only the fuckin' guy stayed sober.. But, if you were in the postion of having cancer, lost your wife, and your band was in shambles.. i dunno, if i would just say fuck it.. But he has the chance to turn it around with dave, and that's why i am so dead set with getting this reuion going... Ed has to suck it up, get well, and get on the right track... And then make some music with roth, or roth could be the right medicine for ed to get well.. Alex had to stop dragging his bro down.. And mikey shut the fuck up and stop bashing ed... help him... jam with him. he's been your brother since the 70's... he made you, you owe him some respect.. Get you priorites straight.. Hey guys I have been reading quite a bit about these CVH rumors and the one thing that keeps popping in my head is Can eddie even make it through a tour. Is his health is as bad as people thinks it is? Accoring to Mikey, they tried to do the reunion 4 times before they got back together with Sammy. Was that a last gasp try to do the renioun before eddie rides into the sunset? I have no clue but all could make sense. I support all forms of VH. Dave,Sammy and Yes Gary. It is frustrating to see eddie looking so bad. I dont look forward to teh day when I wake up and find out the Guitar God has left us. Hopefully his health is fine and we can see the orginal form of greatness together 1 more time like we deserve.

Don't get me wrong BFS, it wouldn't suprise me (well, it would, but not totally) if CVH all somehow managed to bury the hatchet and tour one last time, if only to skim the bucks, before one of them drops dead.

What I could never believe is that Dave could EVER be "the right medicine" for Ed.

Dave's very existence, his glorious, larger-than-life persona, his embodiment of the very things real VH fans want, is like fingernails down the chalkboard of Ed's soul. Dave drives Ed half-crazy just by existing. Just by being Dave.

They might tour again together one day, and Ed might even be seen to smile, but if anyone cares to look REAL close, they'll see it's a fucking grimace on the Lying Dutchman's face, as he grits his teeth and tries to contain his bitchy little temper and not fuck it all up until the cash registers have finished chiming.
