Anyway, The guy is in his mid 50's, of course your muscles are going to start turning soft espesially when your matabolizim starts to shut off. Is it really such a surprise that a guy is going to look like sh/t after 50 years?

Nearly every rocker nearing their 50', or in their 50's are starting to look like shit.

Key examples... Vince Niel, Neal Schon, [insert ac/dc member here], Gene Simmons...

Hell, even dave is starting to show a lot of wrinkles, and a lot less hair these days...

Seriously, show me a pic of somebody who looked just as good in their 50's as they did as when they're 30's, and I'll gladly take back my statement.

You know I don't think age has everything to do with it. SAMMY's always been a little older than the other VH boys. But take a look at a picture from the OU812 tour and the F.U.C.K. tour.

I noticed back then that he was gaining quite a it of weight. SAM was a fitness fanatic in he 80's, but he started the tequlia thing, and it was down hill from there.

I heard SAM on STERN a while ago and HOWARD asked him point blank if he was an alcoholic. This was around 97' or 98,' so SAM made a joke about ED.

STERN then said how HAGAR's parents were alcoholics and that maybe he was following in their footsteps. HAGAR denied this by saying something to the effect that he only drinks after the sun has gone down; but he also admitted that he frequently gets drunk. I don't think it's age, I think it's more constant drinking.
