Forgive me if this is out of order, but this is what he played....pretty sure. Moira will correct me if I'm wrong, I'm sure.

I will issue this challenge. Anyone...man, woman , child, or Administrator...who chooses to tell me that David Lee Roth is a washed up, has-been, wannabe....meet me out back..right now. I'll fight that point to the death.
I went into the show as a naysayer...I didnt want nor did I think I could believe that the man still "had" it. I was proven wrong, ten times over. You know that I will not lie to you. Is David Lee Roth the man who fronted Van Halen almost 20 years ago...today? No. He's not. Is he still a consummate performer, a true professional, a talented individual who's skills are severely UNDERrated.....absolutely.
Tonights show left me standing in a pile of my own dust...from my JAW scraping on the ground. We had GREAT seats... I got lots of pictures.
A review? Well. Let's just say this. Stick a thermometer in the ground folks....cause Steve-O-Wabo just called it as HELL FREEZING OVER..with this statement...right here..
David Lee Roth Is...and always will be, a better performer, and put on a better show...than Sammy Hagar. It's true, and I know it and so does everyone else. And I went into this with a feeling of yelling out during a low point "CALL EDDIE"...(which I did...) but you know what. The state of health, mind, and well being that Edward Van Halen is in right now....or was last time we saw him...he couldnt keep up with David Lee Roth if Roth was standing STILL.
Point One. Roth's Voice. Still VERY VERY much there. Lost a little of the screech, but makes up for it in so many ways.
Point Two. Roth...the showman. Worked an already small crowd into a frenzy....unbelievably great show, sweated his ASS of, never complained. Even pissed off security...who for the first part of the show did their DAMNDEST to keep people away from the stage, and INVITED us to rush the stage during "dance the night away". Screw Security. We went, and we didnt move for the rest of the show.
Point Three. The band. Eddie who? Brian Johnson (or whatever his name is..) is a GREAT guitar player. He's NOT eddie van halen, but i'll say this...he's damn close. Ray Luzer...great drummer...on par and as good as Alex...Hands down. Toshi whatever his name is...AWESOME GUITAR PLAYER.. Todd, the bass player.....bad ass...great great job.
I was worried about Dave and his "show' being offensive to the crowd at the park. He was nothing of the sort. He tamed his language, not one dirty word....not one sick gesture (except to tell the lady in the front row to quit acting like a slut...) Very professiona.
High points of the night..,,Just Like Paradise....personal Favorite
Low Point... Ice Cream Man. Just didnt 'have' it.
Missing In Action. "Yankee Rose" and "Goin Crazy". My #2 and #3 favorite roth songs...and he didnt even perform them. Too bad..I'd have loved to hear them.
In closing. Yes. David Lee Roth...is STILL "David Lee Motha Fuckin Roth". He's still got it, and Edward, if you're reading this. Clean it up, tone it up, polish the axe....and give The Diamond One a call. You could make BEAUTIFUL music together again. Dave said it best...."You can't get this stuff no more".....at least not like Roth gave tonite!
Pictures to follow.
