Van Halen is moving in some direction.
I am a Van Halen fan....I just prefer Roth immensely.
I can listen to any Classic VH album and like it start to finish.
I have never done that with any Hagar version.

BUT....I do believe the new Hagar version will be better than alot(not all) of what I hear on the radio these days....

Face it...we ain't gonna get Roth....but if we want to hear Eddie play...we get what we get.

unfortunately we will have to filter through the cheese to find the decent tracks...

Although it is hugely dissapointing Roth is not going to be there....I do look forward to seeing what Eddie has to offer.

If you are a fan of Eddie's guitar playing, Alex's drumming and Mike's solid bass and background harmonies you are a Van Halen fan. Even if aren't a fan of Sammy or Gary.

Dave has been gone for almost 20 years, and except for 2 subpar vocally songs on BOV1 1984 was the last Van Halen with Dave album you'll ever get. Its now 2004, 20 years later, 2 new songs in 20 years is a long time to wait for Ego-Dave VH.

Just enjoy the music that the 3 main members of VH give you, and then you might enjoy the singer too.
