    Van Halen history

    I need a little help im trying to find out Dates & Places for
    Van Halens First tour And who they toured with is there any Info??
    I cant remember who headlined when they came to Kansas City?

    If I remeber correctly they toured with Aerosmith, AC/DC, Cheap Trick and Ted Nugent for like '78 and '79. BTW Man, those concerts most have kicked ass.
    Still waiting for a relevant Browns Team

        KP i started looking over this site in the year of its conception
        over the years a thought has occured to me and you just reminded me of it again thanks OK heres the deal if this is off subject
        forgive me I saw Van Halen on thier fist tour in Kansas City with???
        I keep thinking Aerosmith ( I remember a Volkswagon BUG
        behind stage right lifted up in the air set to come down) Anyway the
        promoters wouldnt let them drop it( I was so stoned back then)
        sory about all that heres the question:::How can I find out when i
        saw them exactly who they were with 1st tour in KC I remember exectly how BLOW AWAY I WAS BY THE BAND the stuff i was on
        blew my memories of time & space??Any Help

          I think thats how it went most of my bubs i went to concerts w/
          have long since dissapeared there must be a record somewere
          for such things but it would be a huge archive I could probably call
          the concert hall they may have records???

            GO....right now, to VHTRADING.

            There's enough statistics there to make algebras seem lame.

                thanks im in over at TRADING allways thought that was a Vanhagar
                site seems like i was mistaken. thru it into Fav, for time being,
                found set list for 78 still looking for whoever the head liner was
                I cant remember if there was a 3rd act played first ..but i remember
                after VH set up i was thingking ok ive heard a little of this next
                band but just sittin here smok'in scope'in girls waiting for the
                head line as soon a VH opened BANG ..POW..... DAVES HAIR FLYIN
                I allway sit middle Venue way back for best sound It hit me like
                a frggin jet engine . fan ever since..I was HIPPMOTIZE

                      if you wanna get drunk or stoned ,fine ..... but why at a concert especially van halen .... every concert i went to i never drank .why ? cause i wanted to remmeber the experience . and i remember them all . i remember who opened ,who headline .what song every band i saw live opened up with .... how many can say that . to live the concert experience is to have it in your memory .
