Hopefully This Will Give Dave A Kick In The Ass!

I'm a 23 year fan of Van Halen. As unpopular as it sounds, I liked both eras. However, my fave album of all time is "Fair Warning."

Which brings me to my point. Although, Van Halen has chosen Sammy as their singer once again, maybe this will be the creative "kick in the ass" that Dave needs. He should take his anger out lyrically and write a fucking brilliant album of original material. Perhaps he could even call Steve Vai, Billy Sheehan and Greg Bisonnette and get the old EEAS band rolling again!

I know some would now view that as a desperate attempt at following in the footsteps of the recently re-united Van Halen, but Dave was never better solo than he was with Vai, Sheehan and Bissonette!

Face it. As much as the loyal Roth fans despise the brothers and Mike, why would you want Dave back in VH? Would it suddenly make you like VH again? As long as Dave is loyal to his back catolog, why do you care who he's playing with?

If Dave was your draw to Van Halen, then you need not go to the shows or buy the albums with Sammy, as I'm sure you won't.

As much as I loved VH WITH Dave, I can't get mad at a band that HE left...and was given several failed chances to redeem himself.

Makes me wonder. If you were dating some chick and she ditched you cuz she felt she was the attraction in the relationship...Would ya be a "chump" and keep taking her back when she realized she was wrong? You know if you did, you'd never trust her and the relationship would be shit anyway. This is the same thing.

    :D

Even that would be more irrelevant than the Van Hagar reunion.

        Shut the fuck up.

Dave's band will put on more of a Van Halen show than that cheap imitation Van Hagar could ever dream of.
