This won't be much of a review cause I have a lot to do today- but I have to say that I've seen Dave for YFLM, for DLRBand 2x, and for Sam and Dave, and now at the Borgata.
My previous fav was at Scranton in 99 when Dave played before Bad Company because Dave sang all the words and the sound was clear and loud.
This show is my new fav, because not only was Dave's voice loud, clear, accurate, and complex- but it was the best vocal performance I have ever heard from him, bar none. He was excellent.
At the same time he was engaging, funny, and highly entertaining.
Great show, I am so glad I went.
After the Sam and Dave show in Scranton (which had horrible sound) I wondered about Dave's ability to lead Van Halen. After seeing this show, I wouldn't mind if he didn't even bother. He can keep coming around and playing like this til he's done, because this was that good.
I hope Dave comes back to NJ soon- If he does I will see you all there. I'll be the one with the Jack and diet cokes
