i am 14....a few years back i went to see van hagar i was like 12 i think.......well i didnt care for music much back then and thought the show seemed weird....cause sammy was doing covers of jump, panama, running w/ the devil, etc....and i forever knew sammy hagar was a big phake (phony+fake) eddies guitar skills were good i liked the show because of that.....mike and eddies vocals were good too.....eddies guitar and mikes vocals kinda hid sammys vocals and that was goood andyone else see a van hagar show and survived?

Saw them 2 times...first in 93, Charlotte....and it was just like what you said....but I was totally pissed with the prerecorded parts.

Then OMG...LAST YEAR, they played walking distance from where I lived...I didn't know until the last minute....I wouldn't have gone but I was drinking VERY HEAVILY out on the front porch and decided to go...I was fucked up and like "Lets go fuck with Spammy!"

Well Sammy was the BEST THING ABOUT THAT SHOW....thats how bad it was....Eddie was tore up...couldn't believe it. Too drunk to play....Talking drunken nonsense over the mic the whole time...and he never sung anything. That was the infamous Columbus show where Eddie noodled on guitar for 20 minutes of his "solo", and then said "Just fuckin with ya".

The sheep just ate it up...but there were a few diehards like myself yelling "come on Eddie!!! you can do it!!! get it together!!!"

Pretty fuckin sad night.

I almost would have went to that, But $150 for Van Hagar, NO WAY IN HELL!, The only way I would pay that much for a ticket if it was a CVH reunion with AC/DC and Aerosmith opening. God, I just keep remebering Ed said in an Interview after the failed reunion with Dave he said something on how "It would've Insulted the Fans" Yeah bullshit Eddie, from what I've heard about the last tour you really did "Rip Off The Fans". God Ed most be drunk off his Ass.

yea i paid like not a lot and got decent seats but sammy sucked ed was himself and the reest of the crew was wwell mike and alex......umm ed was kinda wasted managed to play eruption though...ahh he can even play it drunk whoa what a god...haha

oh i am not lying believe me people...the first song was jump they did those new songs umm breakfast, learning to see and shit then i think the last song was when is love.....it was last year i know for sure i found the stubs in my room today hershey, pa right by the giants center and in the arena field complex....well anyway the main cool part was when ed played eruption and he said he felt gassy up here and then everyone was chanting for him....well thats basicly everything the rest sucked.....believe me....i am serious......i went it was in the summer of last year....stubs say june 13 -04...i am dead serious about goingi went with my mom and parking was a bitch ok........there.......no pen for sammysucks65

cause it said van halen on it....not van hagar......idk ahhh too many questions i am 14 and it was last year...i had a brain lasp...i am not a mental retard.....i hope not ....i am in the 9th grade a's and b's...so sorry for the inconvience.......but ........believe me!
