I totally agree.

I have this still on VHS as well.

It was such a thrill, one of the most exciting times of my life, to see CVH walk out on stage like they did.

THen the standing ovation.

It was magical but even us fans knew that something was just not right.

Ed's behaviour, trying to get Dave away from mic, etc. Come on Ed, this is DIAMOND DAVE we're talking about here.

It was so disapointing to read about the fallout just a day or two later.

Ed looked so irritated at the MTV awards. I hate watching it. Alex was clowning around with Dave behind Beck just as much as Dave was, yet when Ed and Al did their MTV interview, Alex acted like he was appalled by Daves actions. I was watching it happen that night, and I knew the moment I watched it, that it was not going to happen.

Sad day in Van Halen history. I'd sure love to hear Chris Rocks feelings on this. Did you see his face when they walked out together? Even the homies wanted to see a reunion.
