I was listening...as ALL Army members should...to Phil and he went to a commercial with this parody of Eddie.

Picture this...holding the tip of your tongue and talking in a shrill voice...that's what Phil did only he came out and stated "Hi. thwis iz Edwaad Ban Haben" and kept going.

I laughed my ass off for a good 10 minutes afterward.

Phil is the funniest man ever to sit in front of a radio microphone. I have hours upon hours of his shows. I'm a big fan.

I've heard him do the Eddie bit before and, yes, it is truly hilarious!

Phil Hendrie is NOT funny

Phil Hendrie is not funny. He acts out these fake characters, that are so obviously him, that even a deaf man could tell it's Phil trying to be guest on his show. His voice is the same for all the characters/guests! It's the most boring show on radio. No one likes Phil Hendrie so he has to pretend to be a guest, because no one goes on his show.

There might be a free clip you can listen to, but it's not the same. You really need to hear his whole show, or at least a good portion of it.

He does have full archives available for download on his site but you have to have a subcription at $7.95/month.

i remember when he was a local radio man...KFIam640 in los angeles from maybe 1996-2000 before he went national...

he was on 7-11 i remember....and as the night went on....he got filthier by the minute....i have old tapes of him acting out 3 black men yelling at eachother...with black guests calling in...calling eachother ****** and jigaboo...

man he really holds his tounge now.....i remember the old phil..

I love Phil Hendrie and have many of his "Best Of's" on cd.

Unfortunately, our local station that carried him moved his show to late night whereas it used to be the drive home. I never hear him anymore.

The "character" to whom you are referring is "Lloyd Bonefide" and is hilarious. He got a Purple Heart for having a severe attack of gout during a battle. Hilarious shit.

Also, Phil is a huge Classic VH fan and always ripped on Van Hagar. Also, when Ed had part of his tongue removed Phil would act like Ed was in the studio and mimic him drunk and without a tongue. Too funny.

Right! There was the time where some guy flipped him off on the highway when he was in his RV so he lit his grand daughters's Raggedy Ann doll on fire and threw it into the guys truck. Too funny!
