when I was bored at college using this magazine article searching tool called "info trac", I decided to stop researching the cold war for a second,and put Van Halen in.there were loadsa articles. I found a very interesting one, an interview of Eddie,from guitar player in Mid 1993...promoting Live Right Here Right Now.

here is a choice extract

He laughs for a moment,
then shrugs, possibly thinking better of discrediting himself so readily. "I
mean, the sounds were already there, and we'd done the homework of what tunes,
what tracks, what takes. This was Alex and my first hands-on attempt trying to
mix, and Andy's got 25 years of experience on us. He can't play the fucking
guitar!"

hahahahaha, So the story actually did happen,without a shadow of a doubt...cos, reading between the lines...Eddie confirms it there and then!

Andy Johns has a lot of Stones' ripoff credits.

When you look at it cold, they tore off riffs, marketed them, and threby destroyed the entire competitive club system with fake and dupe, at the concert level, for at least 34 years I can name. Johns and his lot of royalscam kleptos have distorted history and corporate holdings, illegally, knowingly, and now, they cannot put up more rock hits all across the board, with MP3 threatening to become like fusion, a hotter media, too freaky to control.
