Man, this is so great to see the Diamond Dave at his best. Last time I saw him live was in Paris, 1992. Steve Vai was still aboard. I thought I was close, but man, your lips were closer.

I thaught he left in '88 or '89...

No, no, no, you're absolutely right, I'm wrong.

First time I saw him in Paris was 1988 and Vai was in, last time I saw him it was 1992 and Vai was DLRhistory. I had tickets to see the ALAE tour but it got cancelled and the Man never came back to Paris for a show. But he did a TV-interview in the back of a car for a show called "Le plein de super" in 93/94.

Oups, I made another mistake...It's not the french ALAE tour that got cancelled, it's the YFLM tour. I had the tickets on my fridge for two months and it never happened...But I keep hope to see him again, solo or in a yet-to-come reunion with the Halen sissies.

And why not in a EEASband reunion ? This album is nearly 20...
