Hey Carmine i meant a career advance in the since that more people know the name Sammy Hagar then before he joined Halen.

There are a FEW CVH fans that enjoy both versions and still see Sammy solo or buy his current albums. He just increased his profile a little more. It didnt make him a better artist per say just more known.

You could also say he is a better artist in that he may have picked up a few pointers along the way in the 10 years he worked with the brothers and mikey. At least one would think so unless he was a sleep the whole time. Anyone of us here i am sure would learn something about playing or writting if we got to hang out with them for 10 years
