IF Dave has anything to do with the plot..
    (a big "if"...)

my money would be on it having something to do with "The Cafe Wha?" - which Tony's Jewish friend (forget the guy's name) mentioned in a few episodes last season ("The Cafe Wha?" being Dave's uncle's place back in the 50s/60s and where Dave spent his childhood summers).

Thats true. I almost forgot about that.
Hey heres an interesting point. Last weeks episode did a 6.1 Neilson rating. It will be interesting to see if that number climbs at all. No?
"FUCK YOU, YOU FUCKIN' BITCH! WHO THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU ARE ANYWAYS? TALK TO ME LIKE THAT? FUCK YOU. DRAG QUEEN LOOKIN' WHORE- YOU AINT SHIT. YOUR THE FRECKLE TO THE LEFT OF MY BROWN EYE. NOW GO MAKE YOURSELF USEFUL...OH, PUT DAD ON THE PHONE"

        i'll buy that....

Dave was great last night, considering it was a small cameo role, but very kool nonetheless that he is playing himself...

I hope he really is going to be on 2 more episodes this season...and it would be kick ass for Dave(and us fans) for sure for Dave to become more involved in the plot of the show....

Haha,I kept waiting for the knock on the door during the first card scene...everyone goin' "Daaaaave, are ya kiddin' me?" , etc. That Deadwood show after the Soprano's has been mediocre so far.

Also an odd coincidence it aired not long after the nauseating Van Hagar announcement. It was so convenient, Fox news was able to cover it all in one piece, with DLR on the Sopranos being the closer.I think that was last wednesday?

Was this scene set up at all, during the episode? Just curious as to whether all of a sudden they're playing cards with David Lee Roth, no big whoop, or if it was talked about earlier in any way.

Earlier in the episde, Tony sets up the card game by saying, "I've gota couple of friends...high rollers".

So in one scene, the high roller is LT.

                        In the other, DLR.

Reminded me of old sitcoms - like the Brady Bunch - and the kid isn't hitting the ball well, so his dad unexpectedly has his "friend" (say..Sandy Kofaux) drop by to teach teh kid baseball.

                                CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE...
I reformatted the DDLR video through quicktime to an avi
then streamed it with the original .mpa file from the DDLR and flushed em both through Flash.

                                why you ask?

cuz i have a high quality video thats not 19 megs like DDLR's or a 2m Real Audio format like the might DLR Army's...
i have a tasty swinging set of 10 megs of DLR Soprano style baby.
