If this was true, I'd go take a 60-minute piss after the DLR Band left the stage, and come back when Dave was on. :D

Because Sam doesn't want to play the Dave era songs. This would give them an easy out on not playing those songs.

Some would leave, but it wouldn't be noticeable. I probably saw 7 shows on the Dave and Sam tour, and there wasn't much difference in the crowd sizes for either band. I know the Sammy fans like to say the venues weren't as crowded for Dave, but that is just bullshit. All the shows I saw were pretty equal in attendance.

Yes. Sammy was dumb enough to go get his fatass blown off the stage everynight on the Dave and Sam tour. Why wouldn't he do it for the kind of money a tour like that would make? Sam is not the one that squashed the idea.

      Azcardnl, you're the man.

This is ridiculous. The thought. Yes Dave toured with Sammy or vica versa. Dave would never tour with Van Hagar with his band.

I think Dave would do a duet with Pink Floyd rather than tour with van hagar.

          I like Pink Floyd.

My point is this thought is ridiculous.

Yeah, and for the shows climax - Dave and Sammy will lock into a HOT 69 that'll make yer pecker hard as a friggin' rock, Bro. It will be at the end of MEDLY:How Will I Know If It's Love/Louie Louie/Wild Thing. Now THAT'S classic rock!

No, your claim about the Steve Miller song was that it was an active collaoboration between Van HALEN and Steve Miller, not Dave covering an old Steve Miller song. The mystery track "Swingtown 2000" was more of a VH/Miller collaboration than that.
