Realistic Chances of a Van Halen Reunion

They are reuniting with Hagar for a Van Hagar reunion.
Hagar is 57 (he wears capri shorts and sandals onstage by the way)
The rest of the band is late 40's
They realistically have some music left in them.
Would their best be ahead of them..
Probably not.

Yes I think in the future they might get back together.
And yes I think they can create some awesome music.
I thought Me Wise Magic is an awesome song. If Dave and VH
did not break up in 85 and on the next album they put Me Wise Magic it would just be normal.
If they started to create albums again. In my opinion they would create awesome music.

As much as I want to believe yes. If its not happening now, its not happening ever. This situation is a two edged sword. The best we can
hope for is a less than stellar reception for Van Hagar. However if this happens, Eddie will never come back out of hiding. Two failures in a row would be the end of EVH.

Van Halen IS back together. Just because some people do not want to accept it is a different issue. No one is perfect, including Dave, Eddie, Alex, Mike, Sammy, and Gary. But it seems Dave has pissed away any good will, and any chance of working with Van Halen. Remember, Van Halen is named after Eddie and Alex, not Dave. As long as Alex and Eddie are playing together, it is Van Halen.

Who was in Van Hagar when Eddie gave Sammy the boot?? Dave wasn't there! Not even Sammy can reach Ed's assholeness. Eddie (and Alex) are responsible for this whole mess called Van Halen. Eddie's reputation is soiled and one more fart like this will only make it worse. In 1996, it wasn't about Dave at all. It was about Ed acting like an invalid when he wasn't.
