Dave with the Punks would wreck both his career and their band.
Right now, the Atomic Punks are one of my favorite bands because they are VH 1981-84. And, unfortunately at this point, Ralph can sing circles around our own Commander on the VH Classics.
Dave has his own vibe and should crank it as he wishes. I thought the DLR Band beat the living crap outta the EEAS band. As I just saw in the Guitarist thread, Vai played with his brains instead of his balls. Dave's music is all about the nether regions.
