HOW WILL EDDIES SOLO GO.......Eddie will use his guitar solo to feed his GIANT EGO while pretending to give his fans what they want to here. Since they aren't performing any Van halen songs Eddie will feed his fans a medoly of Classic Van Halen mixed in with his solo - likewise Alex will play his ONE recognizable piece from hot for teacher. In his head Eddie will see this as a reasonable way to deliver the Classic Van Halen - BUT WE WILL NOT BE FOOLED -WE WILL NOT BE THERE.

All kidding aside it just boggles my mind how ANYONE could compare Van Halen to Van Hagar. Or better yet, how anyone could listen to both eras. Classic, original, hard rock masterpieces..........and then Spammys cheesey pop ballads. All the Spammy fans say they can't wait to see Edward shred.........On "Love Walks In"? "When it's Love"? "Why Can't This Be Love"? "Can't Stop Loving You"? Fucking count me out, I'd rather watch Dave in a club doing "Big Bad Bill......" for two straight hours.

If this tour comes to Australia, I guarantee that I wont be going. Sammy annoys me to the point where I couldnt enjoy the show. I dont think that I really need to worry about this. Australia pretty much rejected the last attempt (with Ga y Cherone)
Im sure thats still fresh in their minds. I hope they realize we feel the
same way about any unoriginal Van Halen lineup.

I doubt he'll do a solo. On the VHIII tour, they did a song. When the songs solo came, the band stopped playing - Ed monkeyed around with Cathedral a bit, then went back into the tune.

If Ed does play a solo, I hope he has some new shit. Would hate to hear the stuff he's been playing for over 20 years even worse than he did in the '90's.
