Could someone please tell me what the fuck has happened to Van Halen why has so much shit been flying around the members for so long?

Can't Eddie start being an Adult
and admit that he's pretty much(with the aid of Spammy) fucked up Van Halen?

Maybe if he admitted he fucked up bigtime, then Dave and the other members(except for Spammy) might work it out.

Demise Of Van Halen
The flame that was Van Halen died in 1986
There was a brief flicker of life in 1996
But like an olympic torch, intended to stay lit and not relit,
All remained dark thereafter for Van Halen

Eddie is having too much fun, he smokes about 5 or 6 packs a day and drinks when he wakes up in the morning until he goes to bed at night. It's a wonder why his wife left him, his career went down the toilet, He went from the greatest guitar player and a man everyone respected to this fucking bomb that reeks of booze. Even coming close to death he won't put the booze and smokes down.

Van halen at the time (with Dave) was the shit...period. But we are talking many years and many wasted brain cells later..Eddie is in his own little world and will stay there drowning in his drink until the day comes that he's 70 and realizes that he could've brought the world one more taste of the INFAMOUS VH...but instead let it all slip through his fingers. But we all have opinions...

Its really sad though.

When I listen back to boots of live shows they did back in the day, its sad to know that despite all original members being alive, differences or SUBSTANCES cannot be set aside to just go out and rock the world.

We know Dave is a go -- and is always ready.

We know that despite Mike's lovefest with Sam, he will be at a CVH reunion regardless.

BUT, we also know that Alex cant seem to get over his differences with Dave.

And Ed can't seem to get his head clear enough to make the right decisions and do whats best for the BAND and of course the fans.

Sad.
