        First off, I seem to remember another interview wherein Dave was talking about the internet and he said he thought it was pretty cool. Kinda like he likes to surf aroundand see what out there... he runs into something cool and its like "Hey, I want some too!"...

        Also, didn't Dave put some of his music out for free downloads when downloading music was still new to the internet?

        Dave likes to learn. I can't see something as widespread as the internet just passing Dave by.

        And, though it may just be coincidence, I went to a Dave show... which I posted about here prior to going, and Dave walked out on stage, flipped his sunglasses down and shot me a big smile... right before he said "Look at all the people here tonight!". :D I can't help but feel like if Dave doesnt personally visit the site... he is at least kept informed of the goings on here.

        As for why he doesn't promote this, or any of the other Van Halen internet sites... why should he. Its not his site.... and not all of this site is about him. It would be difficult to "endorse" just a portion of the site. Its an all or nothing deal...
