    'Unfinished' now available

Official website includes news, tour and ticket information, merchandise, newsletters, photos, and links.

It's apparently the Hagar era song called Between Us Two but instrumental. Also Mp3 available for download at Van Halens website.

Nice song... I'm thankful they didn't ruin such a beautiful piece by adding a singer!! Any singer...

    It stands on it's own.

Apparently Hagar tried to write lyrics and some melodies to this music. But it was really bad.

This is the song that Hagar once referred to as Van Hagar's "Stairway to Heaven". Though I imagine it would have sounded more like an escalator to Hell with him screeching over it. Works well as an instrumental though.

          Yes it does.

I'm not sure Dave would've done anything with it as well.

Would have been good in that last Bill and Ted movie.

A Hagar melody and lyrics on that would have been an abomination.

As Eddie himself once said when asked about the song... "You can't have Stairway to Heaven music with I can't drive 55 lyrics".

Probably doesn't mean anything but found something somewhat interesting when I looked up the song data on Winamp. Artist name was "Edward and Alex Van Halen" and album title was just "None". Pretty basic stuff. But it also says that this is track 7/8. There's 8 tracks on that Van Hagar "Rarities" cd that was released last year. Was this going to be part of that originally or is there seven other unreleased tracks on some unreleased album? Maybe not. Probably just 8 different mixes of this song and Al chose number 7 heh.

Also this song is still not available for streaming. Just VH website as a free download. Maybe that's Al giving middle finger for Sammy. Retitled, without vocals and no streaming.

Here's a repost, the initial youtube being deleted.

Ed recorded at least three guitars here. I can only remember him playing two, maximum, in general.
