They could do an instrumental album that sounds like "Respect the Wind".

They could do an album of revolving lead singers featuring the hottest acts from American Idol.

They could become a country-western band and call the next album "Van Halen - Dancin' the Night Away!", remaking all of the Roth classics with talent such as Trisha Yearwood and Alan Jackson.

...or maybe sumpin' like Santana....only thing is Santana was known for Santana, not a wild frontman like Halen did with Roth....it would still pale in comparison to CVH....

I hope those fucking idiots do it.
Yes, it would be! Then maybe the bros will get it through their stupid fucking heads that they can't do shit without Dave! I can already imagine...

"So there, I am, in Sri Lanka, formerly Ceylon, at about 3 o'clock in the morning, looking for one thousand brown M&Ms to fill a brandy glass, or Ozzy wouldn't go on stage that night. So, Jeff Beck pops his head 'round the door, and mentions there's a little sweets shop on the edge of town. So - we go. And - it's closed. So there's me, and Keith Moon, and David Crosby, breaking into that little sweets shop, eh. Well, instead of a guard dog, they've got this bloody great big bengal tiger. I managed to take out the tiger with a can of mace, but the shopkeeper and his son... that's a different story altogether. I had to beat them to death with their own shoes...Nasty business, really, but sure enough I got the M&Ms, and Ozzy went on stage and did a great show..."

                  I have a plan:

                  Get on Rock Star: VH
                  Win
Refuse the job live, on air with something like, "There is only one rock star in Van Halen - David Lee Roth."

You know what I've always hoped VH would do other than reuniting with Roth, Pull a Ripper Owens and Hire Ralph From The Atomic Punks.
Now That Would be Something auctually pretty cool to see.
Still waiting for a relevant Browns Team
