Some story just flashed across the screen about Moog dying recently. For some reason, the intro to "One Foot Out The Door" started playing in the fore-ground.
Dave called his (Moog) invention the "sympathizer". Not too long after that he busted out the "always had it, always will" line.
Anyhoo, why didn't Ed show some love for Moog or buy him a KISS casket or something? It may seem kind of a stretch, but think about it....
Fucking Ed should have been @ that funeral getting drunk with KRAFTWERK. If some all-star jam happened afterwards, Emerson, Lake, and Palmeiro could have played "Lucky Man" while Ed threw up on Jan Hammers' keytar.
Fucking Supertramp would have kicked his fucking ass after he started playing the riff from "finish what ya started" in the middle of "Give A Little Bit".
I'd have paid good money to see Jon Anderson get bent out of shape about Ed's drunken antics. Like, they're (YES) in the middle of the dream sequence during "Roundabout" and Ed comes out playing the "Poundcake" intro.
Nothing says side-splitting come-uppance like Jon Anderson kicking Ed in the crotch so hard it knocks the rubber band out of his ponytail AND hip rotator.
The possibilities are endless, and I, for one, feel cheated by Edward Van Halen's lack of showing respect for the passing of Moog.
Any similair grievances?
