I called the Kewadin Casino, even though I was going to the St. Louis Concert and the guy told me that DLR's mgmt. said it was illness and/or Back injury due to a karate fall on stage at the last performance.....who knows???

At this point it's just that Life Happens....don't worry, DLR will play again and make up for these cancellations.....(I hope - he has been good in the past with making good on rescheduling, so let's have some faith).

The good in all of this is that we are all communicating and letting each other know what is happening....this ended up saving me a big headache at the airport. Was only willing to go through the crapola of airport lines, plane changes, etc. for DIAMOND DAVE!!!

Guess I'll end up seeing The Atomic Punks instead....as great as they are, seeing DLR would have been sooooooooooooo sweet!!!!!!

Poor Dave...lets just hope he gets well soon! He cancelled a show earlier this year for knee surgery didn't he? I wonder if that is still giving him trouble?

I never thought I would say this... but perhaps a desk job is what he needs at this point in time. He can finally settle down, live like a regular guy (well, as regular as is possible when you're Diamond David Lee Roth), and not keep tearing his body up. Bodies aren't quite as forgiving once you reach a certain age...
