    reunion thought with DLR

I've been thinking about this reunion shit lately. In September, I am going to see a concert where members of a band are gonna reunite for 1 show, and thats it........ What if Vh and DLR did this.....

like maybe for the RnR hall of shame, one nite reunion and never look back....

would you be good with that?

i think that would be a good way to put it to rest, cause 1 nite with DLR fronting VH is worth more than 1000 Van Hagar concerts!!!

It's wonderful to think about this and all the other reunion schemes we can dream up - but what is the point?

You can't decide these things for the band members. Or Dave.

Everybody's tired of hearing the Van Hagar shit.

But dreaming about a one night reunion of Van Halen is almost masterbatory in nature. You can get off on it - but it's not quite enough.

I'd take a classic Halen reunion if and when I could get it, but I don't think a one-off reunion would really serve the fans or Van Halen very well.

And I don't think the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame should be the touchstone of if and when the classic lineup ever get back together. The original lineup don't need the RnRHOF's stamp of approval to authenticate what we already know; the original Halen was one of the great rock units of all time.

What band are you going to see? Is this part of the VH-1 show "Bands Reunited"?

              Thanks,
