I am a huge roth fan. However I have to wonder what the FUCK is going on with DAVE? I was watching roth on Howard Stern from 2002 last night. I then watched some Dave interviews from the 80's. Dave looked like shit compared to the 80's. I know it has been 20 years but when he was on stern he looked like SHIT!! I wish Dave would move on, I think he kept playing a mostly VH setlist because he thought he was getting ready for the big VH reunion, Well that reunion is not going to happen. He puts out a SHITTY CD. I understand that he thinks he is a black man trapped in a white body, but he is losing fans. It is hard to defend Dave against Hagar fans when he puts out shit like that. He puts out a good album in the DLR band and then doesn't play anything LIVE!! WHAT THE FUCK!! I think Dave always thought he was getting back with VH so he never promoted his solo stuff! well VH is never getting together with roth!!! Move on! Put out some kick ass music like EEAS and some of the VH stuff. Form a BAND, drop the solo stuff. FORGET VEGAS IT IS CAREER SUICIDE!! DavE CAN NOT SELL OUT VEGAS SHOWS!! I DON'T LISTEN TO ROTH TO HEAR OLD BEATLES AND HENDRIX TUNES! I LISTEN FOR KICK ASS NON STOP ROCK! NOT yflM SHIT! FIX YOUR FUCKING WEB SITE!! IT IS THE WORST SITE OF ANY MUSICIAN!! COME ON!! Come On, why would the fucking greatest front man have to go to Vegas! Get a Band together make a new album, play the songs off of the new album on tour. And Fix your fucking Website. i agree with most of what you say except that roth looks so bad, lets face it he not 25 anymore. mick jagger hasn't looked great in the face for years but still has the body and charisma and that's what rock n roll is all about. i do agree 100% with you that roth should have put out a kick ass cd last year like the dlr band cd, he had momentum after the publicity of the hagar/roth tour and he blew it. roth is still the man though, lets face it, if the reunion was with roth this tour would be sold out right now and you know it and the van halen brothers know it. this tour is a huge disappointment and it is pretty sad when they try to give the illusion that due to high ticket demand they had to add on a 2nd show in some cities. i can get a block of 8 tickets in any price range of the first st. louis show, obviously they had 2nd dates already planned for st. louis, nj and vegas and tried to give the illusion that shows were selling out so people would be fooled into thinking this tour was a must see sold out tour. and no offense dude but hagar has looked like shit since the 80,s at least roth once looked great. also kind of ironic that the hagar/roth tour got much more mainstream media attention than this hagar flop tour. seems to me old dave is not only what the fans want but the media also.
