I agree. Im tired of reading from so called "Roth Fans" who hate this album or that cd, and he should do this and that, and his career is screwed. WTF? If your a true DLR fan you would know why he has done what he's done. Im proud of Dave. Every single moment. Even the weird, awkward moments. That miscued interviews and that concerts, to which he forgot lines. That's Dave folks! If you're a fan you'd know that. I too liked Diamond Dave, I thought it was rockin' and creative. You compare it to anything on the radio today, creativity wise, and Dave wins hands down.
And RubNose, if you can find me where it was ever said by Edward that maybe dave did too much weed, I'd like to see it. Sounds a little strange coming from a burnt out has been like Edward.
and BTW, there are WAY and I mean WAY too many threads regarding Spermmy and Van Fagar. This is a DLR Army site. All the Roth fans talking Fagar makes me sick. You guys should be ashamed.

The beauty of Dave is that he is the type of guy that will do whatever it is he wants. His time in VH has given him the $$ to be able to do that shit. He does what HE feels is right for him at the time. Do you really think that he put out the DLR Band, on no major label and expected it to go gold? He aint that dumb.

I do agree he probably thought that the VH reunion was inevitable so he was just getting himself out there...plus he loves the stage so why not?

If he put out another EEAS album, the same people would be complaining that he's trying to bring back the past..."do something NEW!", I'm sure we'd see posted a million times. I think the DDLR album was pretty good...better than the DLR Band album only because Daves singing on that one was mostly shit. He hadn't performed in a while and his vox were way out of shape.

Personally, I'm just glad he's out there.

And as far as the VH reunion that I keep hearing he'll be a part of. I just don't see it happening. I guess we'll wait until the tour starts to find out. If they were having both singers coming out then I'm sure they'd promote it because it would sell a HELL of alot more tickets, that's for sure!

I am probably going to get some heat from some Roth fans and some so CALLED Roth fans and I said it before in one of my earliest
posts here.

Dave is half Fonzie half Cheese. You take away 1 of these elements and it isnt Dave. The cheese part isnt bad. There are lots of different types of cheese. If you are really a Roth fan you will know I am right.
I talked to a lot of Roth fans in person (not just Roth fans on the internet) and they said the same thing.
