Always been curious about this, i've heard that back around the WACF era people thought that CVH was KISS without their make up? Why did people think this?

If you look at their long cat-like faces and hair from the time you might also think this. Then again, everyone speculated on what KISS looked like without make-up. I once heard a rumour that my 3rd grade gym teacher was actually Gene Simmons -- that turned out to be false. Seems he was just a regular guy afterall once you overlooked the dead hookers in his basement.
