HAS ANYONE PURCHASED ONE FROM EBAY? I THINK THEY WERE GOING FOR AROUND 3,900.00. THE ONES HE HAND PAINTED HIMSELF WERE 10,000.00 I THINK. ANYWAY, IF SO, HOWS IT PLAY?
I STILL PLAY THE KRAMER I BOUGHT IN 85. I TOOK OUT THE ORIGINAL PICK UPS AND PUT IN SOME DUNCANS AND THE THING RIPS. IT'S STILL MY FAVORITE GUITAR.

Musicians Friend sells them for $2500, stay away from ebay.

I played one at Guitar Center and i hated it. It has nothing on my old Charvel and in my opinion they make better wall ornaments or coffee tables, providing you need someplace to put your drink that is.

All you need for them is table legs, and they're cheaper than an amplifier.

I spoke to the Top guy at Guitar Center here in ny he told he brought a shit load of them.
He said that it was a big mistake he said he can't even give then away and he was sorry he ever decided to sell them.

I played them, thought they were OK, necks fet vaguely like my old Charvels....not shelling out $2500 when I can build one waaaaay cheaper, though.

They're a quality guitar with a decent sound but way way way overpriced. You could build a comparable if not better guitar for about $500 or so. Of course I wouldn't be caught dead playing an EVH striped guitar in public...

its plays so so not as good as the older charvels .you would be better off getting a esp or jackson better guitars and a lot cheaper . if you want it to look like eds buy some paint .

What I liked about the Ernie Ball and Wolfgangs is you could play them in public and nobody thought you were a Eddie Van Halen wanabe. But yeah, with those stripes on them you couldn't play the thing in public.

Personally, I just like the way Eddie sets his guitars up. I don't like floating trems and his guitars are the only onces set up from the factory that way, plus I like how he does the neck shape. I can haul ass on a EVH spec guitar but if I pick up my Gibson SG, it's like it has breaks on it. I'm glad I bought my EVH signature Musicman when I did. I thought they were overpriced then now seeing what he's selling and how the Musicmans hold their value, it was money well spent.
