Dave just said that in his interview with Howard that they didn't get along.

I think when his Dad passed away, the $$$ goes to his surviving Mom, Sybil. Once she goes to Heaven (which is where we know she'll be going for bringing us Dave to begin with...), the $$$ would be distributed amongst the siblings.

The way I understood it was that Dr. Nathan was very proud of Dave and always supported all that he did with the Van Halens. It was his Dad who called Ed to try to get these guys to kiss/make up and Ed turned around and twisted the truth of the call and had it put in the STAR or NATL ENQUIRER saying that Dave has to talk through his DAD.

I thought a basic black shirt and jeans was appropriate for a casual "drop in" visit.

I dunno...could have been the clothes he was wearing or something. But, I swear to god he had no ass, and seemed very short in person.

I think tell me if I am wrong on this but Dave and his Dad they seen to have had totally different personalities I am sure they had their problems. I am sure I have read some where that his dad was not to happy about him using dope at the same time I am sure they loved each other and his father helped him at the beginning of his carrear.
Unfortunately I did not see how he was dressed on teh interview or what he said so if you have trascript please post it.
Dave is a great performer and to tell you honestly I don't care what he wears or what colour is his hair is.
It is also funny I find that different people have different impressions of the same person, I am glad you saw him close up Susie Q unfortunately the last time I saw him in concert I was a bit far from the stage.

his Mom and Dad were divorced so I doubt she got everything

Dave not getting along with his Dad does not date back as far as the early years. It was more recent.

I dunno either... but when I saw him this year... I think you are right... he doesn't have much of a butt. But whats there is still tight, so I guess thats what counts.

As for short... I refuse to allow Dave to become short. SO, I think its because his stage personna is so larger than life that people expect him to be larger than life... but good things come in small packages.

Thanks Keeyth for letting me know, I can only see half of David from photo. I would like to see him in full while Stern is interviewing him and I am not a dude I am a gal and I agree with you regarding what you have said about David and his Dad it is kind of sad.
