Personally I'd love to hear Dave do 'Eat Thy Neighbor' with them.

I don't think there's much to say. During the last money grab tour they did, local radios were playing commercials with Classic Van Halen playing, to do the tour promoting. This alone says it all. There was even some guy who taped those commercials and shared 'em.Originally posted by Terry
If Dave and Eddie put it all back together, the one thing I am sure of is that nobody but a complete fucking cunt would hope that CVH would sing a lame-ass Van Hagar song.
For fucks sake, didn't you flamin' waborita jagoffs get enough of that shit last year with the Van Hagar reunion? Apparently not. Now you wanna have Dave singing that shit?
Can't drive 55, go fuck yourself.
Love,

Both Eddie and Sammy know very very well that Van Halen is Classic Van Halen, and I am damn sure they worked their asses off to top those seminal records, always miserabily failing.
The truth is that Dave was responsible of more than just the lyrics. He was also responsible of the songwriting and the tracking of the records, which make a great difference. It was Dave's idea, afair, to put Eruption as the 2nd track on Van Halen I. If it was put as the 8th track, it wouldn't have been the same...
All those other little nuances Dave contributed, at the end, make the difference from a great record to a good or average one.Comment

John you sound all tough on the net telling the ''world'' your hate for black people, but in reality i'm sure your little tail is cozy between your legs, your probably ever scared to look at them...Originally posted by John Holmes

Nobody, including Spammy himself (if he has any sense at all), wants to hear that piece of shit "Up For Breakfast" again.
Please don't suggest again that DLR lower himself to Sammy-standard compositions.Originally posted by perilouspete

Obviously you haven't been paying attention. His vocals are better now than they've been in years...besides, why would he want to sit on a fuckin' toilet with a mic while constipated in order to emulate Sam's vocal stylings?Originally posted by ritetoolforjob
shit, he can't even sing his own songs these days, let alone hagar's
Please, please try and tell me what a great singer Sammy is. Please.Twistin' by the pool.Comment

That's the one thing you never really hear from Hagar lovers; what is it about his singing that they like? Not even talking in comparison to Dave, but just what Sam does vocally on his own merits that makes it special.
Would actually be interested in reading an intelligent reply as to what makes Hagar a good singer, because personally I just don't hear it. It's a very limited voice, not very distinguishable. I mean, I'm even putting his lyrical content and stage presence aside here (mostly because he has neither IMO). Strictly his voice - why would anyone think it sounds good?Scramby eggs and bacon.Comment
