I thought the part when Dave and his friend went to the jail and the cop turns to Dave and one cop says to the other cop "who is he"
the other cop turns around and said we found him on 32nd street and he's just a gigolo.

I always enjoyed the tour stories, especially where they glue everything to the cieling. Freaking hilarious.

The book got better and better page by page...gaining speed for "The Reunion Blues"...

Damn, it's been a year since I last read it, I've read it 3-4 times now...gotta do it again.

That story about that old lady they invited to the gig, was it "B-101" or something, was a very touching one.

"...'cause you're gonna shit faster than anybody can read" :p

I've searched and searched. I can't find a good copy anywhere. I called three different book warehouses and sellers. Zilch!

Barnes & Noble can't even ORDER it!

Is it Out of Print or something?

I got mine off Ebay for 8 bucks, then resold it for 11 and threw in my June 3 2001 ticket stub to boot.

You gotta just do like I did if you really want the book; there's a few discontinued-resellers on Ebay who seem to have ample stock of this fine tale of terror and nonsobriety.. The guy I got it from was in Florida and in his feedback, recurrent items included about 4 copies sent out that period.

I figured to me the book was worth 15 bucks, so I bid the cover price to be assured of getting it and it was mint, brand new condition.

USED is another story - Amazon seems to have people listing their copies as low as 3 bucks..
