    Are you kidding me???

Now Genesis might do a reunion??? This is ridiculous. Every other band is doing a reunion except the original VH. I fucking hate this!!!

Hey Ed, Al, Mike, & Dave.......GET YOUR FUCKING HEADS OUT OF YOUR ASSES & DO A FUCKING REUNION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yea, this is the 10,000 post begging for a reunion, but how much longer are these guys going to hold grudges or whatever the hell it is that keeps them from what we all want ???
Before I always said I always liked Van Halen with David Lee Roth. Now I have to say I like Van Halen with David Lee Roth & Michael Anthony. It's just too much!

Yeah, when I heard the news about Genesis reuniting, you can't help but think of CVH immediately. Wonder what triggers these bands to come together again....?

I seriously doubt that any of these band reunions would amount to the Noise Level, if it were CVH reuniting......Ticketmaster would be Off the Hook and the internet would jam up if it were to be.

Too Sad to think about... Ed & Al, plz put the past to bed for christsakes.....it's TIME.

C'mon guys, I love CVH as much as the next guy/gal here on this site....but please, a CVH reunion would NOT be near as big as it could have been....

I really think they would have a hard time selling out 10-12,000 seat arenas....

The bloom is off the flower....the time has gone and passed....no one likes to hear it, but it's the truth....

      Peace

        Dr Chip has a point.

1996 was THE golden opportunity, and they blew it.

Not to say they couldn't do it now and still make money, but it'll never be as big now as it would have been then. Just a gut feeling. Every year that passes just diminishes the response.

I mean, if they wait another 5 years, who's really gonna give a shit? Most of their fanbase will be in their late 30's/mid 40's by then, if not older. With the price of tickets these days, and every other band other the sun having seemingly reunited, I think in a way it's kinda cool CVH DIDN'T get back together ( might as well have that attitude since we got no choice about it anyway). Once again, CVH stands out from the pack as not taking the road more travelled or some such shit.

All I want from CVH is the vaults opened and the classic live video and audio cleaned up and released. Not too much to fucking ask for, is it?

You guys might have a point about CVH's time being long gone.....BUT, I am staying hopeful and let's pretend they did reunite..........Would you guys be attending the concert?

I still believe they could fill the stadium.....if Depeche Mode can (and they are absolutely NOTHING in comparison), why couldn't CVH sell out a stadium like Staples Center, Los Angeles (seats @ 20K)????

Couldn't say for sure. Really not one of those cases where if they did I'd do a 180 and be the first in line for ticks, either.

If I heard from some reliable people on this site that they were seriously kicking ass live, and the ticket prices were under a $100 a pop for semi-decent seating, I'd probably give it a shot.

Short of that, won't break my heart if I missed them.

I just can't imagine the "magic" being there....

Honestly, seeing DLR live with his current band is closer to VH than a reunion would probably be....IMO

Ed just can't play anymore....listen to the last tour boots....very disappointing....

Go see Dave now while you can...

Yeah, but you would know that DLR is going to give you a 200% performance and you can bet that Ed is not willing to take second billing and will compete for the stage...you know how sometimes competition might make the almight Ed and AL even hungrier to out do their old performances to prove to themselves that they still have IT. I would think that we would totally get our money's worth, even if for the sake of just watching DLR on the stage.

We need a reunion, especially for someone like me who never had the chance to experience a cvh show, my dad did though, third row, must have been the best show ever.

Surely Ed, even in his drunken stupor can play better than Mick Mars.
(Im going to see the Crue in a few weeks BTW)
Motley Crue are touring the world with a *HUGE* show....

Van Halen were bigger than Motley Crue.

                              Its still possible.
