David Lee Roth tour cancelled!

According to SooToday.com, David Lee Roth's concert this Saturday (Nov. 26) at Kewadin Casino in the Michigan Soo has been cancelled.

The casino is citing only "unforseen circumstances" for the cancellation.

Unconfirmed postings on web forums devoted to the former VAN HALEN frontman indicate he's also just cancelled a Friday show in St. Louis and the cancellations may be related to a back injury.

For ticket refunds, call the Kewadin box office at 906-635-4917.

That's my whole point, brother. I think it's more likely that LOU gets laid than VH ever gets back together. But every fucking time there's a story like this, some pinhead like EDDYMON starts a fucking sad rumor or speculation. What makes me sicker than ever is Grammy time and MTV Music Video Awards time.

I've 100% given up on VAN HALEN. I, frankly, almost don't even give a shit what happens anymore.

Fuck, I even remember hardcore Roth fans speculating that the 2004 Tour News was a practical joke, masking the fact that they were actually going to return with Dave, not Sammy.

At this point, VH truly is a classic rock band. In '96, they could have been new, vital and interesting. But now? Fuck no. VH died in 1985, as far as I'm concerned.

I've always enjoyed the original Lynyrd Skynyrd band. I always thought they were one of the more interesting, creative bands to emerge from the 1970s. But they died on October 20 1977...and any attempts in the past 20 years the members have made to convince people otherwise have just been a joke. No matter what happens, they are gone.

And the same with VH. I think it's more likely that PINK FLOYD get back together (and that's never going to happen either). At least they had the guts to do a one-off performance.
