Suppose as long as Ed, Al, Mike and Dave are still around there's always a chance for a reunion.

Far as validity for this current batch of rumors, once I see those four guys on tv at a press conference saying, "Yes, we're reuniting," I can't be bothered with getting hyped over it.

Seems like every few months someone comes in and says they 'know someone in the music biz', or they 'know a DJ who knows someone in the music biz', or they 'know someone who knows a dude who hangs out with the guy who runs the liquor store down the street from Ed's house and he talked to Ed and for sure it's gonna happen this year'............

Dave might well think a reunion is inevitable, but that doesn't necessarily mean a reunion is just around the corner.

Ed might not physically be able to do it. He thoroughly embarrassed himself on the last tour with Sam Hagar, a debacle that ended on the sourest of notes. Ironically, it all might end with Dave refusing to tour with Van Halen because the VH of today is not the VH of 1985, and it would be an insult to the fans... now how is that for bad karma?

Sad but true.

Lets be realistic: Dave is just probably marketing his own show. What is a better way to get people interested than mentioning classic VH? Dave knows that there are still plenty of us who hope for a reunion.

By the way, what does Dave think he is achieving but making jokes about and throwing cheap shots at the other band members ? Seems to me he is just desperate for their attention. He should concentrate on his own thing and look into the future and forget about VH.

However, as long as all the four members are alive there is hope for a reunion.
