    rockstar inxs/van halen

It is true, the show is running a second season this summer. It doesn't say what band yet, but what a joke it would be if it were VH. Could they tarnish there legacy anymore? Check it out for yourself. www.rockstar.msn.com

How is it "true" is nothing has been said about it yet?

Because DAVE supposedly said so? I think Dave throws out whatever is on the top of his head...

And if it is true, well, VAN HA___ will be exposed as the national train-wreck they've become...

But I really can't imagine this, I mean, it's not like anybody gives a shit about Michael HUTCHENSE-less"INXS" anymore...

Hey, don't knock INXS! They sold out all 500+ seats at the Chinook Winds Casino out here inside of a few weeks!

        What an AMAZING comeback!

        Twistin' by the pool.

He's saying "It's True" that the show will continue for a season 2...

and I don't think Burnett would do a season 2 unless he has a deal with a band big enough to at least get some moderate viewage...

VH? I think it's still a possibility...even though they'll have you believe it's not...I do think it's interesting that VH didn't give them permission to use their songs last year...

Queen? No...I think they are fine...although that would be interesting

Alice in Chainz?...I'd be interested in watching this show...

          lmfao...how about Extreme...

            * * *

Perhaps a few questions they left out for a future singer to think about?

I think at this point if it is VH, perhaps the one made a clown of (besides the obvious ones: AVH/EVH/MA) SPAM HAGAR since they didn't take him back.

ROTH still sits on the throne and will always and I do believe that for the success of VH on ROCKSTAR....this format and any other desperate attempt they make will fail miserably.

BUT, it will most likely make Mark Burnett and the Execs at CBS or even if they switch networks will make alot of $$$ from high Neilsen ratings.

Ive been reading around and one of the criteria is also a back catalog
of enough Listenable tunes.Showcaseing 3 songs in the bottom 3
for ten weeks without repeating them too often. Not to many band
can even pull that part off.

If Van Halen really was to do this, which I really hope they don't for their own sake, they would become somewhat popular in todays youth again, but for the WRONG reasons. I know first hand that today's youth is very misled about everything.

which is why...if it got renewed...they already know who it's going to be...

It's all speculation right now...and pounded into the ground...we've been talking about this since September...

                    and of course...

I think Marty was the sh!t on that show he should have got the Nod, he was captivateing, had a huge voice, a lil bit o pain, in the delivery.

I don't mean captivateing That Way ...Not that there's anything wrong with that, the Dude fronting INXS is a pretty boy not much else.

I, me, Mine, would give Marty a shot on the next rockstar show VH Or
                      whoever it is about.

Now the Crux of the biscut:::: If VH is the Monkey on the next Show.
It is a testimate to the catch up they have been playing since Dave left the Band.Hagar tried so hard to Imitate Dave.Changed his look,
everthing that Band has done has been in response to Dave.

Daves on the Radio," lets steal his fire".

Once again Dave leads the way to.............. Paradise!

I would like to see Mike, Alex, Ed, playing live with a bunch of diff Singers.

Being as I have not listened, Purchased ,Viewed, Seen, any, Incarnation of Ed, Van Halen or the Huge talent that lies there-in
in 21!!!!!!!! FUKKING!!!!!!!!!!YEARS!!!!!!!!! I miss seeing and listening
to the Van Halen. Even watching them sound check w/out hagar
would satisfy 21 years of refuseing to listen to the fiasco that
                      was hagar

This my quote from the other thread on this stuff I think it applies her too

                      Roth On Muthas!!!!

I think the success of finding a Frontman for INXS worked due to the fact of Michael Hutchence sad fate. The band deserved to be working, being creative and doing what they love and they all get along...good fate, if you will, with Michael Hutchence blessings if he were here to see it.

VH is not going to have that type of luck....not when this simply boils down to the EGOS.

Possible bands that might participate besides VH? Whoever it is, they would have had to be pretty big to generate interest.
If it is VH, do you think Ralph from the Atomic Punks will enter. I saw them the other night in Phoenix at the Marquee theater, and they were great as usual. It would be interesting to watch. Sad, yet interesting, and the final nail in the coffin.
