Dave Navarro pretty much shoots down VH-Rockstar Rumors
This fucking RockStar show is a freakin' joke to begin with...
I hope they get fucking Culture Club...
or fucking Blind Melon...
"Van Halen was one of the most hallelujah, tailgate, backyard, BBQ, arrive four hours early to the gig just for the parking lot bands. And still to this day is. It's an attitude. I think it's a spirit more than anything else is."

Complete bullshit...
Okay, agreed. I skip those two every time.
"Ya know what they say about angels... An angel is a supernatural being or spirit, usually humanoid in form, found in various religions and mythologies. Plus Roth fan boards..."- ZahZoo April 2013
I wouldn't be surprised if the VH/Rock Star thing was something CBS had pursued and VH had agreed to do... CBS probably backed out when they realized poor Ed isn't in any shape to do RockStar or any other show. It might be the main reason why the reunion hasn't happened yet.
They don't do it...because the Van Halen camp is fucked in the head...
all of them...
has nothing to do with the fucking drunk...other than he's in the negative numbers when it comes to brain cells...

What year is it in your part of the world, because over here, it's 2006...[...] I appreciate your almost innocent love for anything DLR and classic Van Halen, but wake up honey...
agree 100%
nobody even knows WHO they are over here...
for the radio show...at least one member of the band is out there doing SOMETHING!

Geez Elvis....be nice.....Priscilla's on my side. I agree to some degree about all things Van Halen and who ? but the diehards at this site give a rip about them anymore.
I do think DLR is brilliant when it comes to keeping up with the times. He knows that he is now a 50 year old ex-Frontman, but no one can EVER take the status of Legendary RockStar from his credentials.
At least I'm on the side of the only guy who has any attention span and a brain....unlike the Sisters who are using shit for brains and not being creative in any capacity. And then there's Michael Anthony, simply competing against A-1 Sauce.
"Meet us in the Future.....NOT the Pasture".......DLR, August '07, VH Press Conference - Tour '07-'08
again...no offense...and there's no bigger Roth fan than I am...
but the relevance is waning...
radio show withstanding...
Roth still carries some weight...but it's been over 10 years since he's put out an album that MORE than his base has bought...
and since then...there's been a fiasco or two that stand out in the public eye...right or wrong...
THE ONLY thing that would add SOME relevance to Roth's career at this point as a musician is a SUCCESSFUL tour in which Roth and the Chirellas go out on tour and don't kill each other...
and/or put out an album of new music...
and that's FAR from a guarantee...
Thinking Roth is brilliant as a fan...and expecting the public to think the same thing after years of being a VH punchline are 2 totally different things...
his fault or not...and even that's questionable to most people outside these forums...
those be the facts...

I'm guessing whatever band is involved...if it's a "supergroup,"
will INCLUDE Navarro...
I don't know why I think that...and if it does...I doubt it will be a real supergroup...
but that's just my guess...

And if this thing includes ANY member of the Damn Yankees...
I'll puke...
