    Bon Jovi vs Van Hagar

    They are both pretty much the same kind of band. But bon Jovi does it a lot better. Jon bon jovi's voice can be annoying at times but I can dig there stuff. Sammy's voice is a one trick whorsey. The bastardization that is Van Hagar is not as cool as bon jovi. Bon Jovi had sex appeal. Van Hagar tried but couldn't get it up. I think Bon Jovi did a superb job at putting out pop hits. I think van hagar sucked in comparison to Bon Jovi.

    What do you think??

    I think even bon jovi's suckiest songs are better than anything on Balance.

      Bon Jovi had sex appeal? Are you a chick, why would that even matter to a guy? You mean you liked Van Halen because they had sex appeal, that actually figured in to your equation somewhere?

                                          Bon Jovi was ok but no respect cause the guy wont sing Runaway in the original form. he sang it slow cause he cant hit the notes 2 years ago and has done the same recently. a joke and he cant sing the way he use to but still getting the sales!

                                          VH has wasted so much time. they could have ruled the world again if this thing took off in 96'

                                              Bon Jovi tried to appeal to chicks and guys chasing those chicks, a lot of whom were into Bon Jovi. Van Hagar could'nt really appeal to chicks as they appealed to Wusses and in the Closet Rockers. I did appreciate the fact the Diamond Dave Brought sex appeal to the band Dude Knew how to work it more than anyone you can think of cause he was cool about it. VAn Halen is nuetered without him.

                                                  Dave Brings a smile to everybody's hips. He brought one to billy sheehans because he gave him his light work. Probably Same for alex van halen, for a couple years. The couples at the shows after the shows were havin fun together. Dave's in town... Every Body Wants Some!!!!

                                                      Yeah pretty much. And I agree with Mr. Lumbergh, they're both terrible but I'll vote for Bon Jovi to slight Van Hagar. You'll also catch me at a Bon Jovi show before you catch me at a Van Hagar show.

                                                          Van Hagar and Bon Jovi are very similar in that I believe both would be perfect for the opening slot on the Greg Bissonette solo tour.
