Well, it seems they have them up officially...
If the CBS high command can get over their egos, Dave may pull a bigger audience...
The difference between Dave and Stern at the early point was that Stern started on a much smaller scale when he openly battled with management in DC. I don't know if ROTH can keep doing this in a major corp.
It will be very interesting to see what happens the blond chick starts up... I don't blame CBS for trying to get some more experience with him. But they should be a bit more open with him as well... Anybody from NYC know who she is (104FM jock?)Comment

Corporations have an uncanny way of ruining things. Why? The top management get paid no matter what goes on. They get great severance packages even if they get fired so do they really give a shit about the company?
Layers of buerocracy, politics, and butt kissing. Ironically, the end product sometimes does not matter in this mess.
The low person on the totem pole is expendable and is usually blamed for the failure. Sadly, this is Dave.
I worked in mid-management for five different Fortune 500 corporations. Amazingly, they all were about the same and had the same problems. Corporate America has hit such an all time low. It's all about short-term stock price manipulation and not much about building anything. As long as there is money to pay for the big screw ups, it will keep on going on as business as usual.
CBS is about raping a quick buck, not building anything long-term.No! You can't have the keys to the wine cellar!Comment

If so, I think her and Dave would fight. I can't see any other chick from Q104 being put on a show with Dave. The personalities wouldn't mesh. Now, some of the guy's on that station...Roth Army MilitiaComment

The only newscaster type person on that station is Cindy Vero, but she's not blonde.
Man, can't they at least get someone who could mesh with Dave's personality to do the newscaster thing if they're going to force it on him?Roth Army MilitiaComment

I have had several opportunities in my life to go into middle management.
I told the powers that be to stick it every time.
Middle management catches hell from above and below.
At least when you are at the bottom the shit only comes from one direction.
Most middle managers end up turning into heavily alcoholic burnouts...I never had any inclination to turn out that way....Comment
