no Roth Radio in Phoenix, but you can stream it live from Dave's site every morning, or download it later in the day. we have links in the radio forum at DDLR.

The "Diamond Dave" album should have done better. Unlike "DLR Band", it had major label distribution through EMI/Capitol. There was at least one video released. And Dave was touring, though he didn't play much of the album, which was an error on his part, in my humble opinion.

It was a good record. Not a Van Halen style hard rock record, obviously. But the songs fit the format of classic rock radio and even so called "adult-alternative" stations. With all that going for it, the label could have thrown a few dollars into promotion. Would it have gone platinum? I'd say Gold at least.

I still say it's a great CD for road trips.

I thought it was stellar. I loved how Dave mentioned that there's no "closure" and "hope springs eternal."

I dunno cos I've always been a positive person? I'm just hoping that SOMEDAY those recordings become available to all of us. I dunno if we'll ever see them "Live" again but a new cd would be the ultimate.
