Bass player did a decent job on this. Probably better than Hagar or Cherone did on any Van HALEN song. But it's still not the real thing.
What really sucks is that Eddie sounded great on the VDIII tour, but he sounded like shit on Velveetapalooza 2004.
So as much as Dave is pushing for a reunion tour, is Eddie up for it?
I still say someone should give Ted Templeman a tape of the VDIII tour and a tape of Dave's show from 1999 or 2001, and let him create a "Live" Van HALEN album from the combination. It might be the closest we get to a reunion.Eat Us And Smile
