I think Led Zeppelin was an amazing band. One of the best but everyone's entitled to their opinion of course.

      There you covered the 90s.

But in your previous post, you covered the 70s and 80s as well.

      WTF am I talking about.

        I agree.

Zep were awesome. One of the greats for sure.

Aside from Eddie's great solo, I thought Hagar was rediculous singing Rock and Roll, from the Live without a SINGER video they did.

Zep was da sh!t back in the day there was no CVH to compare it to

          BullSh!t
saying Zep ain't sh!t is like saying sammy compares himself to Zep
          BullS!t
          It only dumbs down Zep

It's like saying The corvette is is great and the model T had and has no meaning

          BS!
Sammy hasn't done a thing except tell people he is relevant he is as relevant as any pop singer with thin hooks low grade vocals
and a strongly superior lead guitarist who wasted 20 years playing
Sh!t poppy tunes and laughing all the way to the bank.

I dont mind Zep but they do get a little overplayed... u cant really hear obvious musical influences in many bands even tho there are a lot who admit they were influenced.

I'd rather my kids raid my albums and listen to them than download any thug bullshit with riffs lifted off of Led Zeppelin, Van Halen or any other great rock band!

When I see a kid with an AC/DC, Van Halen or Zeppelin shirt on I know that there is hope for the death of rap!!!!!

For all I know the next Eddie, Randy, Jimmy or Jimi could be wearing the shirt or listening to the "classics".

                        Amen, bro.

Also, kids are less likely to want to kill each other or should I say "bust a cap in som mofo's ass" after listening to CVH or Led Zep as opposed to gangsta rap.

Right!? I just don't get these people. You dont see my ass at the Sammy Hagar puttin my two cents in. Why am I not there? Cause I'm not a fuckin' fan. I don't want to come off like a dick but I'm sick of people stating that Sammy had a good run with VH but he's no Dave. No shit genius...

I agree 100%. I'm a teenager myself, and thanks to my parents(mainly dad), all I listen to is 80's and early 90's hard rock and hairbands. But, I've heard what the kids listen to nowadays, and all the emo and death metal will make you want to puke

but this hagar book is a good read! especially the inside explanations of the business what was going on and what greedy fucks the halen sisters are...

but hagar isn't any better...he screwed his wife in the divorce...

I guess, the hard dave is to work with, the much is he the ONLY one in this grand soap opera who does what he does for artistic reasons...and for the adventure and the creativity...
